Beit Midrash at Congregation of Reform Judaism

Beit Midrash (House of Learning) is the name for all of our youth education programs and we offer programs for children of all ages.

The following programs fall under the Beit Midrash umbrella.

Kids Kehillah - Early Jewish Learning for newborns through Pre-K
Children will explore Jewish holidays, traditions, and values through touch, taste, feel, and listening! Kids Kehillah offers a variety of programs such as Tot Shabbat, Torah Tots (Sunday child & parent classes for 2 & 3 year olds) and Pre-K (religious school program for those who are in Pre-K).

JEEP-The Steinmetz Family Jewish Education and Engagement Program for Learners Kindergarten to 6th Grade
Our program's Mission is to engage our students in meaningful experiential learning that is relevant to their lives. We do this through building our students’ emotional, spiritual, and intellectual capacities. Through teaching core Jewish values and competencies, we enhance Jewish identity, a sense of belonging to the Jewish people, a connection to Israel, and a commitment to Judaism and repairing the world.

Making Mitzvot, YALA & Confirmation for 7th - 12th graders
When our teens participate in YALA, they learn about and connect to Jewish life by actively experiencing it!  Yala, Hebrew for “let’s go!” combines experiential education and social experiences in a cohesive program that fosters Jewish identity development, community-building, leadership skills and deep connection to Jewish life.
