High Holy Day Recipes
High Holy Day Recipes
Here are some great recipes for the High Holy Days that I (Sarah) have made during the holiday season.
Some have been passed down from my grandmother, while others are ones that my mom or I have found.
Happy Cooking!

Main Courses:
Brisket: This is Midge's recipe from The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel
Side Dishes:
Challah: This is the recipe I use the most as it is super easy and doesn't take a lot of time. You can use bread flour instead of regular flour if you want.
Roasted Red Potatoes: My Grandmother always served roasted potatoes for Rosh Hashanah and they were always so good!
Roasted Potatoes: Another great recipe
Roasted Asparagus: My Grandmother always served Asparagus as a vegetable.. it was her favorite
Desserts:
Apple Bundt Cake: this is a fan favorite in my family
Apple Galette: A great alternative to an apple pie or apple crisp
Honey Cake: A classic for Rosh Hashanah
Baked Apples: I love making these as they use the apple as a vessel for baking the dessert
