COME AND CELEBRATE Shabbat with us!

Every Shabbat at CRJ is a unique and special experience. Through various modes of prayer, music and ritual there is something for everyone here. You will find people of all ages and all interests participating in services each week on Friday nights and Saturday mornings. Each week of the month has a particular theme and feel. Added to this are services that feature special guest musicians, speakers, topics, or post-service programs.


EREV SHABBAT SERVICES (FRIDAY NIGHT)

FIRST FRIDAY  (Discover Shabbat) AT 6PM
Join us on the first Friday of every month and participate in our Discover Shabbat Series. An interactive Shabbat program featuring discussion, activities, and Tefillah (prayer) for ages 8 -100!

SECOND FRIDAY  (Tot Shabbat) AT 5:30 PM
Join Dani, Rabbi & Cantor for an in-person outdoor Shabbat filled with music & holiday celebrations for children under 6 and their families. 
**Limited to 60 people in-person, masks & social distancing required** 
RSVP IS A MUST FOR THIS IN-PERSON SHABBAT EXPERIENCE 

SECOND FRIDAY (Drive-in Shabbat) AT 6:30 PM
We're going outside for Shabbat in the Lot!  Each month will feature a food truck at 5:30pm. **Masks & social distancing required**  RSVP a MUST! 

THIRD FRIDAY (Shabbat of Healing & Celebration) AT 6 PM
Join us for some chicken soup for the soul and we will celebrate your simchas!

FOURTH  FRIDAY (Creative Shabbat) 6 PM
Through music, theater, and art we’ll get creative and celebrate Shabbat together.   

FIFTH FRIDAY (Shabbat Ha'Olam) 6 PM 
We’re meeting Jews around the World through prayer, song, and art bringing us closer to our brothers and sisters!  

SHABBAT MORNING (SATURDAY MORNING)

BUBBLES ON THE BIMA 9:30 AM in the Sanctuary (select dates)
Join Dani, Rabbi & Cantor for an interactive Shabbat celebration filled with music, crafts, and stories.

Bar (Boy) or Bat (Girl) Mitzvah Service 10:00 am in the Sanctuary

Join for a community-wide celebration for this coming of age moment for our children. Each of our young people lead us in prayer, chant from the Torah and share their own perspectives on how The Torah speaks to them. 

Bagels and Bible 10:00 am via Zoom

Each Saturday Morning when there is no Bar or Bat Mitzvah you are invited to a round table discussion of the weekly Torah portion and its relevance to us today. Bring an open mind and willingness to learn and become a part of a thought-provoking discussion.  No previous knowledge or experience is necessary. Open to All!
