Reserve your seat for in-person friday Shabbat Services

We are excited for you to join us for Friday in-person Shabbat services at CRJ.  Members in good standing may reserve for one Shabbat service from the dates listed, attendance will be limited to 40 people per service.  Reservations must be made prior to the service; the deadline is 12pm the Friday of the service. CRJ MEMBERS, when/if you are logged into your account the form will appear below after you refresh your screen.   If you need help logging in, click here for instructions.

When new dates are announced you will again be able to reserve one of the dates listed.  If you have any questions please call the office at 407-645-0444. For technical help, please contact Julie Begani at jbegani@crjorlando.org.  

**All already established protocols will be enforced, i.e. temperatures taken upon entry into the building, mandatory masks, social distancing, etc.

Required Reservations
**After registering, members will receive a confirmation email with a notification that they have successfully been added to the list for the Shabbat service for which they have signed up. When all spots have been reserved the next set of dates will open up to make reservations. Each week, the list will be given to the ushers at the building entrance. 

** Attendees will be asked to attest that they have not been near anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19 within the past 14 days, that they have no cough, sore throat, trouble breathing, or other symptoms. All individuals must be responsible and make it a top priority to protect everyone’s health. He/she must use proper judgment to determine whether it is safe or not to be present in-person at CRJ. If one is feeling under the weather or questioning possible COVID-19 symptoms, CRJ requests that he/she remain at home and watch the service online.

Each Saturday Morning at 10am we have a round table discussion of the weekly Torah portion and its relevance to us today. We meet through Zoom. You bring the Bagels and we'll bring the thought provoking discussion.

COME AND CELEBRATE Shabbat-"THE CRJ WAY" FRIDAY NIGHT and saturday morning EXPERIENCES

Every Shabbat at CRJ is a unique and special experience. Through various modes of prayer, music and ritual there is something for everyone here. You will find people of all ages and all interests participating in services each week on Friday nights and Saturday mornings. Each week of the month has a particular theme and feel. Added to this are services that feature special guest musicians, speakers, topics, or post-service programs.


EREV SHABBAT SERVICES (FRIDAY NIGHT)

FIRST FRIDAY  (Discover Shabbat) AT 6PM
Join us on the first Friday of every month and participate in our Discover Shabbat Series. An interactive Shabbat program featuring discussion, activities, and Tefillah (prayer) for ages 8 -100!

SECOND FRIDAY  (Tot Shabbat) AT 5:30 PM
Join Zipporah, Rabbi & Cantor for an in-person outdoor Shabbat filled with music & holiday celebrations for children under 6 and their families. 
**Limited to 60 people in-person, masks & social distancing required** 
RSVP IS A MUST FOR THIS IN-PERSON SHABBAT EXPERIENCE 

SECOND FRIDAY (Drive-in Shabbat) AT 6 PM
We're going outside for Shabbat in the Lot!  Each month will feature a food truck at 5:30pm. **Masks & social distancing required**  RSVP a MUST! Socially distant chair seats and limited reserved parking spaces available 

THIRD FRIDAY (Shabbat of Healing & Celebration) AT 6 PM
Join us for some chicken soup for the soul and we will celebrate your simchas!

FOURTH  FRIDAY (Creative Shabbat) 6 PM
Through music, theater, and art we’ll get creative and celebrate Shabbat together.   

FIFTH FRIDAY (Shabbat Ha'Olam) 6 PM 
We’re meeting Jews around the World through prayer, song, and art bringing us closer to our brothers and sisters!  

SHABBAT MORNING (SATURDAY MORNING)

Bar (Boy) or Bat (Girl) Mitzvah Service 10:00 am in the Sanctuary

Join for a community-wide celebration for this coming of age moment for our children. Each of our young people lead us in prayer, chant from the Torah and share their own perspectives on how The Torah speaks to them. 

Bagels and Bible 10:00 am in The Goldman Social Hall

Each Saturday Morning when there is no Bar or Bat Mitzvah you are invited to a round table discussion of the weekly Torah portion and its relevance to us today. Bring an open mind and willingness to learn and become a part of a thought-provoking discussion.  No previous knowledge or experience necessary. Open to All!
