The High Holy Days - How Do the Rituals and Traditions Relate to Our Lives Today!

This special, three part introduction to the High Holy Days will address contemporary questions about the High Holy Day observances.  Some examples of what will be covered are: What makes the High Holy Days so holy? How do the rituals and traditions relate to our modern day lives? What still motivates many Jews to appear at synagogue on the High Holy Days?  What is the contemporary meaning of the Shofar sounding? What are the personal steps to Teshuvah? (Side question, what is Teshuvah??)

The sessions will include group discussion and the opportunity for attendees to pose questions.  A great way to find meaning in your High Holy Day observance this year!

Workshop is taught by Gary Becker (CRJ Member & Clergy Aide)
