For just an hour or two of commitment, you can help a senior citizen by helping to deliver Meals on Wheels Christmas Day. CRJ will once again partner with Senior’s First, UPS, and Toasted Restaurant to help deliver Meals on Wheels for Christmas day to needy seniors in Orange County. I’m sure that most of you are aware of our campaign to gather volunteer drivers for this project. Drivers meet at CRJ on Christmas day around 10am where they are given meals and a route for delivery. The routes usually take about 1 hour to complete. This is a very rewarding experience for volunteers of all ages, and much appreciated by our seniors. In addition to drivers, we also need volunteers Christmas Eve Day to begin the portioning and packing of the meals.
