Please join us as we welcome Cantor Jacob Niemi back to Congregation of Reform Judaism to celebrate his recent ordination as Cantor at Hebrew Union College- Jewish Institute of Religion Debbie Friedman School of Sacred Music.  

Cantor Niemi will join Cantor Jacki and the CRJ Adult Choir on the bimah for a special Shabbat Service on Friday, February 15, 2019 at 7:00 p.m., followed by a celebratory oneg. He will co-facilitate Bagels and Bible with Cantor Jacki on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 10:00 AM.

We are delighted to welcome Dr. Alan Mason as guest pianist for Shabbat services on Friday evening, February 16, 2019  Alan is one of the nation's most noted accompanists to cantors and Jewish singers, and is the President of the Guild of Temple Musicians.  He received the Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Miami in 1993, and is a retired Associate Professor of Music at Barry University.  He is an accompanist for the American Conference of Cantors, the Cantors Assembly, the Union for Reform Judaism, and the Zamir Choral Foundation.  Alan is the conductor of HaZamir Miami, a chapter of HaZamir: The International Jewish High School Choir, and the Assistant Director of the Second Avenue Jewish Chorale.  Alan is on the Board of Directors of the American Conference of Cantors and the Zamir Choral Foundation.
