" A joyful community that inspires the soul, builds relationships and engages the world"

Jewish Family Services is hosting their first annual Pantry Re-Stock Challenge through April 30th. Now more than ever, there are families living with hunger. As Pesach approaches, it is a good time to reach out and help these families through JFS. A $1 donation buys $6 worth of food!!! For those who would rather donate food, you can bring your donations to CRJ and place in the basket by the gift shop, or we will be handing out grocery bags soon. The food drive is sponsored by the Weiner family and the Winter Park Wealth Group, who will provide even more funds based on the amount of food and donations received. So your $1 not only stretches to $6, but even further! Cash donations can be made directly to JFS through their website at http://www.jfsorlando.org/give/ This spring, please help fight hunger! Together we can make a difference!

The Jewish people celebrate Passover as a commemoration of their liberation over 3,300 years ago by God from slavery in ancient Egypt that was ruled by the Pharaohs, and their freedom as a nation under the leadership of Moses. It commemorates the story of the Exodus as described in the Hebrew Bible especially in the Book of Exodus, in which the Israelites were freed from slavery in Egypt.
