Congregation of Reform Judaism is a vibrant community with something for everyone, including Young Professionals in their 20s and 30s! CRJ's Young Professionals Group implements inclusivity and open-mindedness so that all who come can sit back, relax, and be themselves. The young professionals who attend our events are from all over Orlando, looking for sincere human connection while embracing being Jewish. Whether you are 21 or 39, we guarantee that you will meet awesome people, have meaningful conversations, laugh, enjoy tasty food, and leave wanting more!
Our events generally take place on Friday nights, Saturday nights, and Sunday afternoons, but sometimes take place on weeknights. A description of each type of event is listed below. Fees are based on the cost of food and location of the event. Please reach out to Cantor Bryce if funds are an issue.
Shabbat & Schmooze (Friday Nights): Enjoy dinner and schmoozing with fellow Jewish young professionals!
Havdalah Happy Hour (Saturday Nights): This begins with a short Havdalah ceremony and continues with dinner and interacting with other young professionals!
Sunday Funday (Sunday Afternoons): Take an adventure to a fun-filled destination!
You do not need to be a member of CRJ to attend events. Non-Jewish significant others, those interested in Judaism in general, those interested in converting to Judaism, or those who are in the process of converting to Judaism, are welcome.
If you have become an active member of the group and you turn 40, we will allow you to continue to be part of the group until you turn 41. At that point, we respectfully ask that you refrain from attending events. With this said, if there are people you have become friends with, with whom you would like to stay in touch, please let Cantor Bryce know. She will be happy to reach out to them to ask if it is okay for her to share their information with you. Thank you for understanding.
