The Steinmetz Family School of Chai seeks to inspire each student with a comprehensive Jewish education in a caring, innovative, and vibrant community. Through engaging learning for students in grades Pre-K through 6th, we combine compelling Hebrew and Judaic curriculum with our fun Camp Chai specials which include art, music, cooking, & drama! We seek to inspire students and their families to connect to their Jewish heritage while building a sense of Jewish identity that is relevant and meaningful in today’s world.

As we navigate the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, the health and safety of our families and staff are uppermost in all of our planning. At this time, learning will take place virtually utilizing Zoom.

Family parent participation days are rich opportunities for you and your children to study together with their teachers, clergy and the director of education. Each grade has a very special morning of making connections to topics of Reform Jewish learning.

During the course of the year, each class will have the opportunity to participate in leading services at either a Friday or Saturday Shabbat service. These services are a wonderful way for your child’s class to work together to be leaders in our community.  We will be working alongside the Rabbi and Cantor in order to prepare the students for the service.
