FUNDS:
CRJ requests a minimum donation of $10. Tributes will be listed in the Chai newsletter and we will notify both the donor and the recipient that a donation has been made to a specific fund in their honor or in memory of a loved one.
 
• The Butterfly Garden Fund - Used to maintain and enhance the garden
 
• The Cantor Harold Dworkin LRC Fund - Used for the maintenance and upkeep of the Learning Resource Center
 
• The Cantor’s Discretionary Fund - Used at the discretion of the Cantor
 
• The Coleman Jentes Fund - For scholarships to attend URJ Camp Coleman
 
• The Cultural Arts Fund - For cultural arts at CRJ
 
• The Denise Cohen Library Fund - Used to purchase books for the library
 
• The Feed the Homeless Fund - Used to purchase food for the hungry
 
• The Henry & Sylvia Grossman Fund - For GORFTY members to attend NFTY Winter Kallah
 
• The Howard Altman Caring Community Fund - To be used for programming and materials that provide care to CRJ members
 
• The Leadership Development Fund - Used for leadership development programs
 
• The Matt Beerman Youth Fund - Used for scholarships for youth to attend local and regional NFTY youth group events
 
• The Melvin Yarmuth Scholarship Fund - Used for scholarships for the Steinmetz Family School of Chai
 
• The Memorial Fund - Used for equipment/ supplies for the sanctuary
 
• The Prayer Book Fund - Used to purchase prayer books and other materials for worship, ritual and lifecycle
 
• The Rabbi’s Discretionary Fund - Used at the discretion of the Rabbi
 
• The Religious School Education Fund - Used to enhance the Steinmetz Family School of Chai and its programs
 
• The Sidney R. Geist Jr. Scholar-in-Residence Fund -To fund Scholar-in-Residence Programs
 
• The Social Action Fund - Used for social action projects
 
• The Stanley S. Bloom Social Hall and Kitchen Fund - Used for the renovation of Goldman Social Hall and kitchen
 
• The Stephen Feinberg Memorial Fund - Used for scholarships for Camp Coleman
 
• The Tillie Sondock Music Library Fund - Used to buy music materials
 
• The Torah Restoration Fund - Used to maintain and repair the Torahs

• The Youth Enrichment Travel Fund - For high school trips to NYC and Washington, DC led by the Rabbi

 
SPONSORSHIPS:
•  Oneg Shabbat - Sponsor an Oneg after a Shabbat service - $250 donation

•  Chai Sponsorship - cost includes printing & mailing -$550 per month - eleven issues per year

 
MEMORIALS/HONORS:
•  Memorial Plaques - in the Sanctuary - $650 for one/$1,000 for two

•  Tree of Life - engraved leaves - $250 each

•  Engraved Bricks - bricks are located under the overhang by the front doors - $118 each
 

 Additional Donation Opportunities:

Burn the Mortgage - generous donors have already pledged $360,000 of $750,000. Consider making a monthly pledge over 4 years. Just over $100/month turns into $5000 after 4 years. Please help our synagogue find its way to a firm, financial future. Consider a one time gift through the online PayPal account.
